Serendib’s sides and condiments elevate every dish. The Spicy Coconut Sambol bursts with heat and brightness, while the Beetroot Curry offers an earthy, mellow counterpart. Their thoughtfully prepared Indian and Sri Lankan-style curries, including Chana Masala with organic chickpeas in coconut milk, highlight the diversity and depth of spices used in every meal.

Ending your dining experience with desserts like the Flourless Chocolate Cake, which pairs rich chocolate with a hint of coffee alongside a delicate chai cream, or Mom's Love Cake, a semolina treat infused with cashews and rose water, seals the meal with a blend of comforting sweetness and cultural flair. Serendib's ice cream, crafted locally with jaggery and pure Ceylon tea, offers a uniquely refreshing finish that echoes the restaurant's thoughtful attention to detail.

Incredible food, an absolute staple of the local food scene. The Sri Lankan curry is always great, and their sides/appetizers are good as well. My girlfriend and I will miss Serendib very much.

The food was delicious — especially the Sri Lankan curry, naan, and samosas. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the playlist — the songs were fresh and not the typical Bollywood tracks you usually hear. Overall, a great vibe!

Nice corner restaurant where you can watch the hustle of Ellsworth’s Main Street while enjoying delicious Indian food. The sauces… I want to put them on anything and everything - so flavorful!

I ordered Serendib takeout. They missed a few of our items, but thankfully didn't charge us for those items. Some items I tried: - sanjeeva's wings: sooo good, amazing spice. Might be too spicy for some - lentil cakes: pretty good - lamb meatball curry: so juicy and yummy - tandoori chicken: an insult to tandoori chicken honestly, not good at all - tandoori salmon: super flavorful and juicy - dhal: not the flavor profile I'm used to, I didn't like it at all - eggplant moju: friends didn't like, but I did. If you like eggplant curry you might like it - deviled potato: good spice, but personally I would skip it. Friends loved it Wasn't a fan of the rice. Wish they added more salt or onions or something to enhance the flavor, it was really bland.

Loved how you made the sri lankan curry local by adding swordfish. It was the little things, and this meal that really made it pop from the little thing of yogurt, with the curry to The sweet onion Chutney with the lentil cakes.

I really enjoyed my visit here! The chicken wings were full of flavor with just the right amount of spice definitely a highlight. The staff were very polite and accommodating. I asked for a veg biryani, but they kindly offered to make veg fried rice with mushrooms instead, since biryani wasn’t available. It turned out really tasty and fresh! I appreciated their effort and great service. Highly recommend this place for both food and hospitality.

What a lovely place! We chose a window street that overlooked the Main Street which was entertaining. From the time we walked in, Staff were warm and welcoming. Everyone worked together to ensure we were taken care of. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We left there happy and full. If ever in the area again, we would revisit for another wonderful meal.
